In addition to regular support meetings for the general AAGW membership, we also offer an affinity support group specifically for women with autism. The Women with Autism Group is open to women—heterosexual, lesbian/gay, trans, and nonbinary—who are autistic or who think they may be autistic. You do not need to have a formal diagnosis.
The Women with Autism group typically meets via Zoom from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM ET on the third Sunday of each month.

Confidentiality Policy
All Women with Autism events (including Zoom events) and communication (including e-mails, Discord chats, and other messages) are strictly confidential. You may not record or transcribe any AAGW or Women with Autism event, in whole or in part. If you prefer, feel free to register and identify yourself using a pseudonym or first name only.
How to Join
Joining the Women with Autism group is a separate process from joining our main AAGW e-mail group. You do not need to be part of the main AAGW e-mail group to join the Women with Autism Group. Additionally, while this group focuses on autistic women living in the DC–MD–VA area, we welcome autistic women living outside this area to join our Zoom meetings.
To join, you must identify as a woman or non-binary person, be at least 18 years of age, and have—or believe you have—autism spectrum disorder. You do not need to have a formal diagnosis. If this is you, feel free to sign up using this Google Form, and a Women with Autism group facilitator will add you to the Women with Autism e-mail group (and, optionally, to our Discord server) to allow you to chat with the group.
